At InFitness InHealth we believe in doing things properly, hence our Power Plate sessions are carried out on a one-to-one basis over thirty minutes, leaving nothing to chance.
Although the Power Plate is relatively new, an ever-growing body of scientific research proves its potential for widespread therapeutic application and health benefits, for everyone from elite, high-performance athletes, to the elderly, to those simply wishing to improve their general health and fitness.
Many of our members have experienced positive benefits from our Power Plate sessions, several of whom suffer from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The machine's advanced vibration technology provides many muscular contractions each second providing you with a very complete muscular workout. However, whilst your muscles are working so hard your joints are not straining and your perceived levels of exertion are not as high as they can be whilst performing traditional strength training. Also, the machine has a very wide range of intensity settings which can be adjusted in very small increments, allowing gradual progression.
Our Power Plate sessions can therefore be set very specifically to suit an individual's current health and fitness levels.
